CHEAP Toys

Just like children bunnies need toys but don't think that means driving to the pet store to pick up expensive toys. No, I've got some great toys for Bunny's that will cost you next to nothing!

1. HAY STUFFED IN TOILET PAPER TUBE
This is the most common toy that most bunny owners use because just about all bunnies love this toy.
YOU WILL NEED

• Scissors
• As many empty toilet paper rolls as you like
• A handful of your bunnies hay

METHOD

1. Cut a few holes in the toilet paper tube about the size of the top of your index finger
2. Stuff the whole tube with hay so that some of the hay will poke out from the holes

 TIP: You can also hang it from the side of your hutch using some garden twine.

2. HAY BAG
This is a great way for a bunny to enjoy their hay
YOU WILL NEED

• Plain brown paper lunch bag
• Scissors
• Hay
• One or two of their favourite treats
• Garden twine

METHOD

1. Again cut the same size wholes as the toy above around the paper bag
2. Stuff the bag with hay and one or two of their favourite treats leaving a bit of room at the top(you'll see why next)
3. Cut about 5-6 cm of garden twine and tie the top so that the only way of getting to the treats and hay is by ripping the bag.

3.OLD PHONE BOOK(Yellow pages etc)
Great for ripping up
YOU WILL NEED

• Old Paper phone book for ripping NOT FOR CHEWING OR EATING

METHOD

1. Rip the front and back cover off because it is usually covered in a thin cover of plastic.
